How to organise a Secret Santa
- Pick a budget everyone is comfortable with and write it down.
- Set the date and place of the exchange.

- Ask for wishlists. Participants can add one on their reveal page so their Santa has ideas.

Remote and office exchanges
For remote teams, agree on a delivery deadline and ask participants to add a shipping-friendly wishlist on their reveal page, or set a digital-gift budget. For office exchanges, keep the budget modest, set the exchange for a day when most people are in, and remind everyone of the date a week before. The organizer dashboard shows which participants have opened their link, so you can nudge anyone who has not, without ever seeing who drew whom.

How does the Secret Santa generator work?
Enter the names of everyone taking part, optionally add exclusions such as couples who should not draw each other, then click Draw Names. Each person gets a private reveal link that you share by text, WhatsApp or email.
Do participants need an email address or account?
No. Each person gets a private link. Share it any way you like. Nothing is sent automatically and no accounts are created.
Can the organizer see who drew whom?
No. The organizer dashboard only shows the private links and whether each has been opened, never the assignments.
Can I exclude couples or family members?
Yes. Add as many exclusion pairs as you like. Nobody draws themselves or anyone on their exclusion list.
Can people add a wishlist?
Yes. On their reveal page everyone can write a short wishlist. Their Secret Santa sees it on the same page.
Is it really free?
